Edible Pedal 100® 2012 Scholarships!
April 17, 2012 – The Rotary Club of Reno Sunrise and edible Reno-Tahoe Magazine presented Jaime and Erika, $500 scholarships each at a luncheon hosted by the Douglas High School Culinary Program. Both young ladies will be attending TMCC’s two year culinary program in the fall and then a four year school in the future. The Rotary Club of Minden generously donated $500 to help the program purchase new uniforms for future competitions. As you may recall, the DHS Culinary Program staffed the Genoa ride stop for the 2011 Edible Pedal 100®. We look forward to seeing Kerry and her kids at the Genoa stop again this year. Stay tuned as we announce the scholarship recipients for Carson High and Washoe AACT. Thank you riders, sponsors and volunteers for helping us “Give Back”!
